On the occasion of the visit of a delegation from Qatar
After hosting the successful FIFA World Cup 2022, Qatar has ambitious plans for further development as part of its National Vision 2030. While Qatar continues to leverage its position as the world’s largest LNG producer, it intends to use this advantage to pursue diversification towards an increasingly modern and knowledge-based economy. Promoting expansion of Qatar’s private sector is a priority and it has already invested heavily in supportive infrastructure – physical, technological and regulatory. The Qatar Free Zones will play a vital role in attracting private sector companies through a range of additional, attractive incentives.
What are Qatar’s plans for the next decade? How can Germany and Qatar, with their respective companies, cooperate and partner to achieve both countries’ ambitious economic goals and vision?
